Friday, June 16

• SAJE Senior Ministry is hosting chair yoga at 10:30 a.m. at Concord Trinity United Methodist Church, 5275 S. Lindbergh Blvd. Admission is $3 and SilverSneakers is accepted.

Saturday, June 17

• The Olde Town Fenton Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is hosting designer purse bingo from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Arnold VFW Post 2539, 2301 Church Road, 63010. Doors open at 5 p.m. There will be 16 rounds of bingo for a chance to win Michael Kors or Kate Spade designer purses. There will be a cash bar; soda, water, coffee and tea will be provided. Tickets are $30 each or $200 for a table of eight. The event benefits the Veterans Community Project – St. Louis, a village of tiny houses for veterans experiencing homelessness and an outreach center to provide support services for veterans.

Sunday, June 18

• Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site, 7400 Grant Road, is hosting a “bike through history” bike ride at noon. Join a park ranger for fun, fitness, and history on a leisurely-paced, two-mile ride along Grant Trail ending at the Sappington House. The program is free.   Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site, 7400 Grant Road, is hosting a Juneteenth talk about James Milton Turner at 1:30 p.m. The program is free and will take place in the park’s theater. Call 314-842-1867 ext. 230 for reservations.

• Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site, 7400 Grant Road, is hosting a Juneteenth concert at 3 p.m. featuring The Legend Singers. The Legend Singers have been performing for over 80 years . The ensemble was founded in 1940 with the mission of continuing the excellence in artistic performance of African American choral music. They have performed with groups such as the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, The Southern Illinois University Orchestra and the Indianapolis Orchestra. The program is free. No reservations are required.

• The Jeffco Swing Dance Club meets from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Arnold VFW, 2301 Church Road Admission is $8.
