Friday, Dec. 16

• SAJE Senior Ministry is hosting chair yoga at 10:30 a.m. at Concord Trinity United Methodist Church, 5275 S. Lindbergh Blvd. Admission is $3 and SilverSneakers is accepted.

• Calling all aspiring witches and wizards to attend O.W.L. Camp at Hogwarts at the Oak Bend Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 842 S. Saturday, Dec. 17

• Enjoy the experience of playing in the snow, minus the cold, with winter sensory play at Grant’s View Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 9700 Musick Road, at 2 p.m. For ages 2 to 5. Registration required at slcl.org/events.

• Animal Tales and the Oak Bend Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 842 S. Holmes Ave., are hosting a holiday safari at 10 a.m. Meet six exotic animals from around the world. Participants will pick presents off a table that have hints for the animals. For children ages 5 and up.   

• The Affton Community Center, 9801 Mackenzie Road, is hosting open pickleball from 11 – 1 p.m. and 1:15 to 3:15 p.m. Admission is $2 per person or free for Renew Active and SilverSneakers members. Reservations start Monday at 8 a.m. by calling 314-615-8822.

Sunday, Dec. 18

• The Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site, 7400 Grant Road, is hosting a holiday candlelight open house and concert from 4 to 8 p.m. Experience White Haven during the holidays with live music by guitarist Patrick Rafferty playing 19th century holiday favorites. At 7 p.m., the Irish/Scottish group Celtica will perform a concert in the park’s visitor center. All activities are free and no reservations are required.

• Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 3600 Hampton Ave., has worship recorded and streamed every Sunday at 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Facebook and Youtube, and in-person

• Embrace Church, 314 S. Clay Ave., worships at 6 p.m. Zoom option available.

• Trinity United Church of Christ, 5200 Hilde Ave., is holding services at 10:30 a.m. “Open and affirming.”

Monday, Dec. 19
