• The Cliff Cave Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 5430 Telegraph Road, is hosting “Fiber Art Craft Hour” from noon to 1 p.m. Bring your current crochet, knitting or needlepoint project and enjoy the  company of others. Open to adults.

Saturday, Aug. 26

• The Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site, 7400 Grant Road, is hosting a ranger-led architectural tour of White Haven from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. For reservations, please call 314-842-1867 ext. 230.

Sunday, Aug. 27

• South County Democrats will be collecting diapers and menstrual hygiene products, as well as monetary donations, for the Saint Louis Area Diaper Bank from 10 a.m. to noon in the parking lot of LiUNA, 4532 S. Lindbergh Blvd. Urgent needs include larger size diapers, training pants, overnight pads, and both light and regular tampons. Open boxes are acceptable.

• The Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site, 7400 Grant Road, is hosting “Walk Through History” from 2 – 4 p.m. Join a park ranger for fun, fitness and history on a leisurely paced, three-mile walk through Grantwood Village to the original site of Grant’s cabin, Hardscrabble. This program is free, though reservations are required by calling 314-842-1867 ext. 230. Monday, Aug. 28
