Sanders Park bridge in Crestwood is currently closed as it is in the process of being replaced. 

Work on the bridge, located at the park off of Sanders Drive, began Sept. 11 and is scheduled to wrap up Oct. 28, though this will be dependent on the weather. 

The contractor is trying their best to keep the Sanders Trail open while they work on the bridge, though there will be days that the end will need to be closed “for work tasks” according to the Crestwood Parks and Recreation Department. 

“Improvements take time and patience, but end result is always worth the wait,” the Parks and Recreation Department said in a Facebook post.
