Reliance Bank on South Lindbergh robbed

The St. Louis County Police Department is seeking the publics assistance in identifying this man accused of todays robbery of Reliance Bank.
The St. Louis County Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying this man accused of today’s robbery of Reliance Bank.

The St. Louis County Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man accused of today’s robbery of Reliance Bank, 5401 S. Lindbergh Blvd.

Officers from the Affton Southwest Precinct responded at roughly 10:55 a.m. Friday after receiving the robbery call.

The suspect wore a mask and was armed with a handgun. After jumping on the counter and displaying the weapon, he demanded cash, according to police.

He was provided with an undisclosed amount of money and then fled. No employees were injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as a black male in his late 20s to mid-30s, roughly 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds.

The robbery is under investigation by the St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons.
