The St. Louis County Planning Commission will review a proposal for a car dealership and a proposal for a self-storage facility, both located in South County, at its public hearing Monday, Sept. 18.
The first public hearing is a zoning change request from C-2 to C-8 on a .33-acre tract to operate a vehicle sales and storage facility. Kawa Shaker is proposing using the existing structure at 8525 Morganford Road as car dealership, which would include sales, rentals and leasing of new and used automobiles, including trucks and motorcycles. This would include any associated repairs and necessary outdoor storage of said vehicles.
Shaker’s proposal is in the 6th County Council District and Bayless School District.
The other hearing is a request from C-8 zoning to amended C-8 on a 9.47-acre tract at 6303 S. Lindbergh Blvd., allowing for all C-3 Shopping District uses including a self-storage facility, called “Dogwood Commons.” The proposal is in the Lindbergh School District, as well as the 6th County Council District.
