The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s office issued charges Tuesday against an Oklahoma City man for a decades-old rape case that occurred in South County.
Police said charges were issued against Stacy Pollock, 62, of the 6200 block of Independence Street in Oklahoma City, for forcible rape with a weapon. According to police, he is currently in custody at the Oklahoma County Detention Center on a $500,000 cash-only bond. Oklahoma City police arrested Pollock Wednesday. The charges are merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until, and unless, proven guilty.
The probable cause statement reads that the rape occurred on Sept. 17, 1992, in the 2600 block of Parkhill Circle in Lemay. The probable cause statement alleges that Pollock tied a bandana around the victim’s face before forcing her to lie on the floor and tying her hands and feet together. Police said Pollock then threatened to kill the victim, cut off her clothes and assaulted her.
Pollock was identified using DNA analysis.
