Mr Moran was a hockey coach of mine, and later we saw each other often when he was an NHL off ice official and I was a journalist covering NHL at the Arena. I lost touch with him when I moved out of town in the mid 1990s and I just moved back to town and sad that I wasn't able to connect with him before he passed away in 2022. He was always one of my favorite people.
