Obituary For Thomas Sexton

Thomas “Tom” Sexton died May 10 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Tom was born Dec. 26, 1944, in Bayonne, New Jersey, to Raymond Sexton and Margaret Bonner. Tom was the youngest of four children in a warm and loving family.

Tom was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was the epitome of integrity, generosity and kindness. Throughout his long and successful career in the financial markets industry, he forged successful careers not only for himself but for the many professionals that reported to him.

Tom was an avid golfer and always treasured his membership at Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, New York. Tom enthusiastically shared his dedication to the New York Yankees, the New York Football Giants and the New York Rangers with anyone who would listen, but most of all, it was something he shared with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Tom is preceded in death by his siblings, Raymond Sexton, Patricia Sexton and Robert Sexton (Beatrice).

He is survived by his wife, Denice; his three children, Daniel L. Sexton (Kathryn), Alexandra S. Milligan (Colin) and Cara E. Sexton; his four grandchildren, Rowan Sexton, Quinn Sexton, Christian Milligan and Keely Milligan; and his sister-in-law, Mary Sexton. Tom loved and cherished his numerous nieces and nephews, and there will always be a special bond with them.

Denice and the entire family would like to give special thanks to Orana Sylvain and Marie Villarson for their devoted care. The family would also like to thank the staff at Trustbridge Hospice Care for their dedication to caring for Tom.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (https://t2t.org/donate/) and Trustbridge Hospice Foundation (https://trustbridge.com/give/) are most appreciated.
