Obituary For Sally A Barnowski
Burial Date: June 15, 2021. Sally A. Barnowski, 61, of Pinckneyville, died at 3:10 p.m. June 10 at home. Sally had been a charge master for eight years at Mercy Hospital. She also worked for 26 years at St. Anthony Hospital. She was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Pinckneyville. She was a Eucharistic minister and a member of the Third Order of Professional Lay People. Sally had served communion to nursing home residents. She was born Oct. 15, 1959 in St. Louis to Sam and Josephine (nee DeGregorio) Signorino. She is survived by her husband Joseph P. Barnowski of Pinckneyville; three sons, Joe Joey Barnowski (Danielle), Michael Barnowski (Krisitin), Tony Barnowski (Korie); all of St. Louis; five sisters, Paulette Kapes (Bill) of St. Louis, Virginia McKee (Jeff) of St. Louis,Vicki Keller (Dave) of St. Louis, Kathy McLaughlin (Tim) of Atlanta, Joanie Wyatt (Rich) of St. Louis; one brother, John Signorino (Deb) of Austin Texas; six grandchildren, Aidan Peck, Julien Peck, Brielle Barnowski, Jack Barnowski, Ava Barnowski and Grace Barnowski. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother in infancy, John Signorino. Mass will be held Tuesday, June 15 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 5047 Todds Mill Road, Pinckneyville. Fr. Oliver Nwachukwu will officiate. Visitation for friends will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 14 at Searby Funeral Home, 107 S. Walnut St., Tamaroa, Illinois. Rosary will be prayed Monday at 7 p.m. at Searby Funeral Home. Interment at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery in Todds Mill, Illinois. Friends may make memorials to the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
