Obituary For Ronald J. Flanigan

Ronald J. Flanigan, 87, died April 15, 2024.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ruth M. Flanigan (nee Schneider); his children, Donna (Dan) Bess, Mike (Donna) Flanigan, and Lori (Mike) Buehler; his grandchildren, Riley and Miranda Bess, Casey (Drew) Pavlik, Jessica Flanigan, Michael Buehler and Becca (Kyle) Olsen; and great-grandchildren Lincoln and Ethan. Dear brother of Susie (Glenn) Bremer and the late Carol Kierski. Our dear Brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Ron, aka Cool Guy Ron, the Twinkie Man, Nor Naginalf, Pop, and more, enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved bowling, the Cardinals, the casino, family get-togethers, weekly happy hours with friends, mystery trips, and any celebration. He made friends everywhere he went and was quick to offer a joke and a beer. He loved meeting all the people he encountered while working at Hostess and later at Schnucks.

Thanks to all for the friendship, love, and support given to Ron and his family all these years, especially this past year. It means the world.

Ron will be missed beyond words.
