Robbin Lynn McBride, 56, died July 24 at Integrity Healthcare of Wood River, Illinois. Born Feb. 26, 1962, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, she was the daughter of Bill and Phyllis (McFarland) Treece. She is survived by her daughter and best friend, Valeen Gilley of Hartford, Illinois, and was preceded in death by her husband, Scott McBride, and her sister Becky Treece. She is also survived by Billy (Denise) Treece, brother, St. Louis; Debbie (Joe) Koenen, sister, Oakville; Scott Treece, nephew, St. Louis; Drew Treece, nephew, St. Louis; Tina (Patrick) Hill, niece, High Ridge; Rachel (Shane) Hooker, niece, Oakville; Sarah & Deja Koenen, nieces, Oakville; Nicole Treece, niece, St. Louis; Jimmy and Linda Stufflebean, extended family, Hartford, Illinois, and her beloved dogs Angel, Jael, Precious and Meka. She was an aunt, niece, cousin and friend. Ms. McBride lived in Hartford for seven years, but previously lived in Lemay for 37 years. She passed after a long and difficult battle with cancer. She loved life and lived it by her own terms. She enjoyed movies, reading and spending time with her daughter and her fur babies. She was a collector of many things. One of her favorite collections is that of troll dolls. She is loved and will be missed dearly. She was cremated by Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
