Michael “Mike” McGinnis, 73, died July 4, 2024.

Beloved husband and best friend for 53 years of Linda S. McGinnis (nee Matheis); dear son of the late Marie Mroz and Timothy McGinnis; dear son-in-law of the late Theresa Matheis; a dear brother-in-law, nephew, cousin and friend.

Mike was born in St. Louis in 1951. He graduated from Cleveland High School in 1969.

Following his schooling, Mike's career took him to Barnes-Jewish Hospital where he worked until his retirement. When away from work, Mike loved to scuba dive. He had the opportunity to dive in amazing locations such as Aruba, Australia and the Caribbean.

Mike is remembered, mainly, for his kindness and wonderful personality. He was a very kind giver and had a great sense of humor. Mike was adventurous and loved to try new things. He will be greatly missed by all who had had the opportunity to know him.
