Matthew James Pfohl, 43, of Oakville, died Nov. 8.
Mr. Pfohl was a master carpenter and an Eagle Scout with Boy Scout Troop 661 of Oakville.
He was born Sept. 26, 1974, in St. Louis County, to Melvajean (Schwent) and Percy Wayne Pfohl, who survive.
Besides his parents, survivors include sons Keoni and Skylar Pfohl of Potosi; daughter Alissa Pfohl of De Soto; sisters Melody Dorner of Crystal City and Mindy (Nick) Damico of Arnold; grandmother Dorothy Schwent Jones; and companion Deanna Strong.
Mr. Pfohl was preceded in death by grandparents Melvin L. Schwent, James Butler and Mary Kathleen Pfohl.
Funeral services were at Queen of All Saints Church in Oakville with Msgr. Henry Breier officiating.
Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park.
Arrangements were under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, Arnold.
