Mary Ann Sthair (nee Seago) died Saturday, Dec. 9. She was the beloved wife of Michael Sthair; dearest mother of Cheri (Greg) Barnett, Christine (Patrick) Reynolds, Matthew (David Ditch), and Kevin Sthair; dear grandmother of Zachary and Sean Barnett, Madison, Samantha, Victoria and Isabella Reynolds; sister of Nancy Jean (the late Walter) Schaper, Patricia Ann (the late Richard) Van Buren, Ronald Melvin (Barbara) and the late Ronald Seago; and sister-in-law of Carol (Al) Benedick, Mary Jo (the late Bud) Ferguson, John Patrick (Chris) Sthair and the late Shirley (Bill) Tischler, Steven Sthair and Linda (survived by Rick) Schuerman.Mrs. Sthair put family first in her daily life. She married Mike, the love of her life, and they were blessed with 52 years of marriage. Mrs. Sthair enjoyed playing sports, working in her yard and traveling during her retirement.Visitation and services were at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The family was assisted by Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory.Mrs. Sthair donated her remains to St. Louis University School of Medicine. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Amyloidosis Research Consortium.
