Obituary For Lucy M Jones-Stevenson (nee Hibbitts)

Burial Date: September 8, 2021. Lucy Marie Jones-Stevenson (nee Hibbitts), 90, died Aug. 31 at St. Clare Hospital. Lucy was born in Fredericktown, Missouri, Jan. 25, 1931, to George and Rae Hibbitts. She lived most of her life in St. Louis where she and her late husband John raised their family. She was employed by Scholin Brothers Printing before retiring. In retirement Lucy enjoyed working as a sample lady, mostly at Schnucks stores where she loved meeting new and seeing old friends. She was a big St. Louis Cardinals fan and hardly ever missed a game on TV. Her favorite days were those spent with family, especially her great-grandchildren who affectionately called her GG. Her favorite hobbies were cooking, gardening, and crocheting. Survivors include her children, Charles Logsdon of Farmington and Johnna (Mark) Keiser of South County; her grandchildren, Brandi (David) Stevens of Alpharetta, Georgia, Trisha (Shaun) Singler of South County, Lindsey (Bradley) Suhlin of South County, her great-grandchildren Areck, Nolan, Berkley, Ensley and her brother Jerry Hibbitts of Corpus Christi, Texas. She is preceded in death by her son, Gerry Logsdon. Visitation was held Tuesday, Sept. 7 from 4-8 p.m. at Kutis Funeral home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, 63129. Service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. at Kutis Funeral home. Burial to follow at Knob Lick Cemetery, Highway 67 and DD, south of Farmington, Missouri.
