Lawrence Davis, 83, died March 16.
Beloved husband of Barbara Davis (nee Stovall); devoted father of Laura (the late Don) Fritschie, Tracey (Scott) Ashwell and Scott (Colleen) Davis; adoring grandfather of Emily, Jack and Grace Ione Fritschie, Kaitlyn (Zach) Fensterman, Erin and Colin Ashwell and Zachary Davis; dearest son of the late Mary (nee Connors) and Dave Davis; loving brother of Dale Davis, Sue (Rick) jould, Rick (Mary) Davis and the late Terr Javis; a dear uncle, gleat uncle, cousin anc friend. He will be missed by many.
Larry was a proud alumnus of St. Michael's the Archangel School, Bishop Dubourgh High School and Southeast Missouri State University. He served his country as an artillery soldier in Vietnam and dedicated 35 years to teaching high school math and physics, touching the lives of countless students.

He was married to the love of his life for 55 years, and together they raised their three children in a house full of love and laughter.

Larry was never shy about being silly and had a knack for fitting a joke or pun into any conversation. His family and friends were incredibly dear to him, and he always made them feel seen, heard and valued.
