Kenneth R. Koerber, 92, died Nov. 14 in St. Louis. Kenneth was born Sept. 6, 1929, to Walter and Estelle Koerber of Brentwood. He graduated from Brentwood High School in 1947 and attended college and graduated with a degree in social studies. He served honorably in the United States Air Force from 1951 through 1955. He continued serving his country for another 33 years, retiring from the Defense Mapping Agency, United States Department of Defense, in 1988. Ken married Nancy Ann Hiltibidal on June 29, 1957, and they raised two sons, Richard and Robin. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Estelle; his wife Nancy and their son Robin (Dawna). He is survived by his son Richard; his daughters-in-law, Dawna (Joe) and Suzanne, and five grandchildren: Jessica (Greg), Brittani (Alex), Serenity (Jake), Jeffery and Joey and great-granddaughter Zoe. He was a Master Mason with The Grand Lodge of Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons of the State of Missouri for 65 years and was a member of Eastern Star, Scottish Rite, Shriners, Amaranth, Rainbow Girls, High Twelve, Oriental-Rabboni Chapter, Jeremiah Counsel and Ascalon Commandery of the Royal Arch York Rite. Services were Sunday, Nov. 28 at 3 p.m. at the Webster Groves Masonic Lodge #84, 12 E. Lockwood Avenue. Private burial to take place at a later date.
