Obituary For Kenneth Alfred Rockwell Sr.
Kenneth Alfred Rockwell Sr. died Oct. 21, 2024.
He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Rockwell of Weslaco, Texas; his son, Kenneth (Angela Joy) Rockwell, Jr. of Philadelphia; his daughter, Karen (Rory Schroeder) Rockwell-Fischer of Barnhart, Missouri; his daughter, Diane Rockwell of St. Louis; his grandchildren, Emma Reilly, Anna Fischer, Gary Kentch, Matthew Joy Rockwell and Jason Joy; and his former wife and the mother of his children, Carol A. Rockwell of St. Louis.
He is preceded in death by his stepson Christopher N. Bilbro.
Throughout his career, Ken owned and managed numerous restaurants, following his lifelong passion for cooking.
In addition, Ken was a gifted musician. He played multiple instruments, including guitar, banjo, keyboard, and accordian. He was also a singer.
He loved dancing with his beloved wife, Donna.
Ken's legacy in the community, through his culinary and musical talents, his years of leadership with the Boy Scouts and his warm and joyful personality, has left an indelible mark on the lives of many.
