Josephine Carter, 93, died peacefully Aug. 31 at her Oakville home.
She was the beloved wife of the late Derek Carter; daughter of the late Ramon and Maria Pellicer; mother of Odette (Rick) Kaufmann; sister of Emil St. Pellicer and the late Odette Comer; grandmother of Steffanie Puent and the late Sara Cunningham; aunt of Paul (Gillian) Carter, Peter Carter, Kathy (Terry) Kuhns and Odette Sparks; and cousin of Odette Wetzel.
A private memorial service was conducted for Mrs. Carter. The family was assisted by Fey Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Alzheimer’s Association.
