George Carmichael died in Las Vegas on May 13.

He was born to Mary Jane Carmichael in St. Louis on December 18, 1955, and he was a resident of St. Louis for years. He was a member of the United States Marine Corps.

George is survived by his sister, Glenda Odom of Fenton; his children, Tifney Carmichael of St. Louis and Gios Gregory of St. Louis; his grandchildren, Taylor Carmichael of Phoenix and Chase Coco of Imperial, Missouri; as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jane, his sister, Jeanette Scheidl, and his daughter, Tia Carmichael.

There will be a memorial visitation at Henry Funeral and Cremation Service, 2842 Meramec Street, on July 7 from 5 - 7 p.m. and on July 8 at 10:30 a.m., followed by a procession at 11:30 a.m. to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Road, for a full military honors burial service.
