George A. Gansner Jr., 71, died March 5. Mr. Gansner was the husband of Rosalie (Faulstich) Gansner, and they were together for over 50 years. He was the father and father-in-law of George (Jennifer), Andy (Amy), Chris and Kai (Elyssa). He was Opa to 10 grandchildren and was a brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle and friend. Mr. Gansner was a longtime German teacher in the Mehlville School District, where students knew him as Herr Gansner. He taught English and then German at Mehlville High School from 1969 to 2003, including some years at both Mehlville and Oakville high schools.
