Dr. Lawrence Edward Schreiber Jr., 74, of Oakville, died Nov. 2 in Festus. He was born Oct. 17, 1946 in St. Louis to Lawrence Edward Schreiber Sr. and Helen Elizabeth (Albus) Schreiber. Larry worked as a pharmacist until his retirement. He enjoyed trains, doing landscaping around his home, but most of all he enjoyed the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was very active in the community as a trainer for the St. Louis Cardinals Football Team and the Oakville High School athletic teams. He is survived by his son, Lawrence Edward (Amanda) Schreiber III of St. Louis; his daughter, Laura Schreiber and fiancé Christopher Stoll of St. Louis Louis; and his three grandchildren, Arlyn, Elena and Allie; other relatives and many friends. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Edward Schreiber, Sr., and his mother, Helen Elizabeth (Albus) Schreiber. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mahn Funeral Home Twin City Chapel in Festus.
