David E. “Dave” Samuels died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020. Beloved husband of Teresa M. Samuels (nee Gorman); son of late Michel Bernard, Rose Dzialowski and late stepmother Lilly Goodman; grandson of late Benjamin and Emma Samuels; dear father of Kurt (Mukda), Karen (Steve) Bauer, Keith and Jean (Jim) Helman; grandfather of Ashley (Tony) Russo, Kelly, Jessica, Michael and Clark; step-grandfather of Mike and Morgan; brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many. Dave retired from the U.S. Post Office in 1989 after 25 years of service. He then worked as an outside director, field usher and ticket taker for the St. Louis Cardinals for 15 seasons from 1990 to 2004. He also enjoyed stamp collecting and playing cards. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Fey Funeral Home, 4100 Lemay Ferry Road, Dec. 21. Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
