U.S. Veteran. Burial Date: January 30, 2020. Carl E. Nappier, 93, of St. Louis, died Jan. 24. He was born Jan. 15, 1927 in Centerville, Missouri, to the late Cliff and Gladys Nappier. Carl was married to Melcenia Nappier (nee Baker) Dec. 4, 1948 in St. Louis. Carl was a U.S. Navy veteran and member of the Oakville Baptist Church. Survivors include sons David (Betsi) Nappier, Dennis (Gretchen) Nappier and Terry Nappier; and grandchildren Ian, Samantha, Ben, Tyler, Ed, Eric and Ali Nappier. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Jan. 29 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 30 at Kutis Funeral Home, followed by interment at 11 a.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
