Benjamin S. Armistead Jr. died Sept. 6.
He was a teacher at Fanning Middle School for 42 years.
Mr. Armistead was the beloved husband of Carole J. Armistead (nee Merz) for 44 years; dearest father of Kim (Jeff) Anderson, Benjamin Armistead III, Chris (Brandi) Armistead, Brian (Lisa) Pehr and the late Antoinette Armistead; and loving grandfather of Tiffany, Taylor, Chloe, Allan, Gavin and Caylie.
Services were at Kutis South County Chapel. Interment was in Our Redeemer Cemetery.
