Burial Date: September 25, 2019. It is with profound sadness that Anita Marie Cross (nee Thompson), 70, of St. Louis, entered her eternal home with Jesus at sunrise on Sunday, Sept. 22 in St. Louis. Anita was born Feb. 25, 1949 in Mason City, Iowa to Audrey and Arley Thompson. She was retired from Bethesda Southgate. She is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Ryan Cross. She is survived by her daughter Brandi Cross of House Springs; grandson Tyler Gudiswitz of Poplar Bluff; great-grandson Blake Gudiswitz of Poplar Bluff; grandson Scott Dobyns of Wichita, Kansas; sister Arla Mink of Woodland Hill, California; brother Allan Thompson of Kensett, Iowa; and sister Ann Low of Northwood, Iowa. We rejoice in knowing she is joined again with her son, Ryan, and her parents Arley and Audrey Thompson. Services were held Wednesday, Sept. 25 at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church.
