In collaboration with Lutheran High School St. Charles, Westminster Christian Academy and four Wentzville high schools, the Oakville Dynamics — Oakville High School’s robotics team — hosted the annual Gateway Robotics Challenge on Oct. 11.
The Gateway Robotics Challenge is held during the off-season, allowing students to experience a competition before the season begins in January. This was the third time OHS has hosted the event.
Thirty-one total teams attended this year, with the majority hailing from Missouri or Illinois, though three “Off-Season Demo Teams” from New Hampshire were also present. In addition to Oakville, Cor Jesu Academy and Mehlville High School represented South County at the pre-season competition.
