St. Louis County hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Affton-Southwest Police Precinct, 11500 Gravois Road, March 15, pictured above.

The new precinct is named the Officer Blake Snyder Building, in honor of Officer Blake Snyder who was shot and killed in the line of duty in 2016.

County Executive Sam Page, St. Louis County Police Chief Kenneth Gregory, Police Captain Guy Means, District 5 Councilwoman Lisa Clancy and District 6 Councilman Ernie Trakas gave speeches, along with members of Snyder’s family.
