NEW: MoDOT cancels signal work scheduled Monday

The Missouri Department of Transportation and its, contractor Gerstner Electric, Inc., have canceled the stop sign control of the Interstate 55 and Route 61/67 interchange scheduled between 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, August 9.

Crews removed and replaced signal cabinets overnight Sunday, August 8.

This work is part of a signal networking and fiber optic interconnect system on Lindbergh and Tesson Ferry (Route 21), the release stated.
