Construction of the Mehlville Fire Protection District’s new No. 4 firehouse at 13117 Tesson Ferry Road is nearing completion. The Diestelkamp Construction Co. is building the new firehouse, which was designed by Archimages. The new energy-efficient fire station will have roughly 8,500 square feet of space with three engine bays. Total cost of the project is about $2.75 million. The new firehouse is across the street from the existing No. 4 firehouse at 13106 Tesson Ferry Road. An open house is scheduled for Saturday, March 12. More details will be released soon.
