James and Helen Brewer celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 21 during a reception at the Affton White-Rogers Community Center.
Mr. Brewer and the former Helen Klingemann were married June 20, 1953, at Seven Holy Founders Church by the Rev. Paul Onderbecky.
Jim is a retired carpenter and Helen is retired from Magna Bank.
They are parents of Barbara Grommet of Maryland Heights and Deborah Lee of Nixa.
The couple have one grandson, James Grommet.
