Aug. 13 update: The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s office issued charges Monday night against the driver of the other vehicle involved in the accident.
A motorcyclist was killed after a vehicle collision in South County late Sunday afternoon.
According to the St. Louis County Police Department, officers from the Affton Southwest Precinct responded to a call for service at 5:53 p.m. for a motorcycle crash near the area of S. Lindbergh Boulevard near Flori Drive. An adult male on the motorcycle was northbound on S. Lindbergh Boulevard when he collided with a vehicle near Flori Drive.
The motorcyclist was transferred to an area hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries but was later pronounced deceased.
