The Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor Fred Weber, Inc., will close a second left lane of northbound and southbound Interstate 55 between Bayless Avenue and Reavis Barracks Road on Thursday, June 24, and Friday, June 25, 2010, weather permitting, according to a news release.

Crews will close the lanes to repair concrete on northbound I-55 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on southbound I-55 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. After Friday, June 25, one left lane will remain closed until early July. Two lanes of southbound I-55 will remain open during this work, the release stated.

This bridge work is part of a project to rehabilitate or replace four bridges between Lindbergh and 4500 South Broadway, as well as upgrading the interstate lighting and the signals at Loughborough.
