The Missouri Department of Transportation is proposing a revamp of Watson Road/Route 366 and is holding an open house-style public meeting on the project Nov. 10.

MoDOT is planning to replace a bridge over Gravois Creek and update sidewalks and signals within the Watson Road corridor between Geyer Road in Sunset Hills and St. Louis City. The roadway will also be resurfaced. In all, it is about seven miles of roadway along the Watson Road corridor that will be part of this project, which is slated to begin sometime in 2024.

The meeting is from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10 at the Crestwood Community Center, 9245 Whitecliff Park Lane. There will be no formal presentation; participants can attend the meeting anytime between 4 and 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

MoDOT engineers will be on site to share information about the project, its schedule and expected impacts to commuters, and to gather feedback from residents along the corridor.

For those unable to attend, the meeting information and comment form will be available at modot.org/route-366-watson-road-between-geyer-and-st-louis-city-limits. People will be able to leave comments about the project at that link through Nov. 28.
