The Mercy Mammogram Van will be at the Hancock Place School District Central Office parking lot, 9417 S. Broadway, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22.
To schedule a mammogram, call 314-251-6300, and select option 0. Those who are uninsured can inquire about a free mammogram.
To qualify, patients must be 40 years and older, and able to stand and use steps for the exam. Patients should not have current breast issues, or a past history of breast cancer, and it must be at least one year since your last screening.
Patients should bring their insurance card and photo ID. Costs will be billed to insurance. Appointments take approximately 15 minutes, or 30 minutes with breast implants. Results will be aviable in 24 to 72 hours in myMercy. Patients who do not use MyMercy will have their results mailed to them in two weeks.
