Mehlville sets Saturday Morning Café session

Mehlville School District residents will have an opportunity to meet with Board of Education members and Superintendent Terry Noble in an informal setting from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at the St. Louis Bread Co., 130 South County Center Parkway, near the South County mall.

Besides the Saturday Morning Café sessions, Noble and the Board of Education are reaching out to residents through public forums and the school district’s community-engagement program, COMPASS — Charting the Oakville-Mehlville Path to Advance Successful Schools. Mehlville sets Saturday Morning Café session

The Mehlville Board of Education will continue its schedule of Saturday Morning Café sessions from 9 to 11 a.m. Oct. 20 at at the St. Louis Bread Co., 130 South County Center Parkway, near the South County mall.

Board members scheduled to join Superintendent Terry Noble Saturday are Secretary Micheal Ocello and Venki Palamand. The sessions provide residents an opportunity to meet with board members and Noble in an informal setting.

Noble and the Board of Education also are reaching out to residents through public forums and a community-engagement program, Charting the Oakville-Mehlville Path to Advance Successful Schools.

Additional Saturday Morning Café sessions are set for Nov. 17 and Dec. 15. For more information, call (314) 467-5152.

“I like this method of communicating because it meets the goal of two-way communication without creating a captive audience for those who are seeking a political platform to promote non-district issues,” Noble stated in a news release.
