Lutheran South is hosting its annual “Big Band Swing” on Friday from 6 to 10 p.m. to raise money for Lutheran South bands to go on tour this spring.
The event will be held at Lutheran South, 9515 Tesson Ferry Road, in the Kuhlmann Center.
Doors open at 6 p.m., with free swing dance lessons starting at 6:30. Following the lessons, “The Ambassadors of Swing,” a local professional big band, will play at 7 p.m.
Tickets – which include beer, wine, soft drinks and hors d’oeuvres – are available to purchase in advance for $30. Tickets purchased at the door will cost $35 per person.
