Long Elementary School paraprofessional Victoria DiMuro was recently recognized by the Special School District (SSD) of St. Louis County with the 2025 Building Block Award.
The Building Block Award recognizes SSD paraprofessionals – including teacher assistants, teacher aides, certified occupational therapy assistants, registered behavior technicians and physical therapy assistants – working in St. Louis County who show outstanding skill and dedication to their students.
Ten educators from across the county received the Building Block Award this year, with DiMuro alone representing South County.
