Lipic’s Engagement is hosting a lemonade stand Wednesday to support Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.

The lemonade stand will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 19 at Mobile on the Run, 9950 Big Bend Road, in Crestwood, across the street from the building Lipic’s Engagement is in.

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation is a children’s cancer research foundation founded in 2005 in honor of Alex Scott. Scott, born in 1996, was diagnosed with cancer before her first birthday. When she was four, she started a lemonade stand to fundraise for childhood cancer research, before she died in 2005. So far, Lipic’s has already raised $1,000 for the foundation.
