Lindbergh High School Student Council hosted the district’s first-ever “Winterfest” on Feb. 1 from 6 to 8 p.m.
The event – held in the LHS commons – was full of games, crafts, concessions, competitions and two winter-themed movies: “Frozen” and “Ice Age.”
Additionally, community members were invited to bid on baskets with items such as Raising Canes gift cards and garden supplies. All proceeds from the basket bidding were donated directly to the GoFundMe page of LHS senior Cameron Samples, who was recently diagnosed with nodular lymphocyte predominant Hodgkin lymphoma.
