Lindbergh Schools is hosting two community forums to get feedback on the next iteration of the district’s strategic plan.

The first set of community engagement events will be Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 5 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. in the Truman Middle School cafeteria, 12225 Eddie and Park Road.

The second set of events will be held Thursday, Sept. 14 at 5 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. in the Sperreng Middle School cafeteria, 12111 Tesson Ferry Road.

These events are open to all members of the Lindbergh community, including parents, students, district employees, alumni, residents, business owners and community leaders.

Lindbergh has partnered with Education Governance Leadership Association to help develop the next five-year plan. The district’s current strategic plan is available at go.lindbergh.ws under the “Our Work” section.

“As parents, employees, graduates, business owners or community members, we all share a common goal: we are committed to ensuring excellence in learning for all students,” Superintendent Tony Lake stated in a press release. “The feedback we receive during this forum will inform the work of the Strategic Planning Steering Committee, helping shape the future of education at Lindbergh and creating student-centered, future-ready opportunities for all students.”

The Strategic Planning Steering Committee is expected to present a new five-year plan to the Board of Education in February 2024, with a final vote slated for March.
