The Missouri School Boards’ Association has awarded Lindbergh Schools’ Board of Education and superintendent, Tony Lake, with the 2025 Governance Team Award.
The team is one of 23 Missouri school boards to receive the honor this year. Webster Groves was the only other area school board to receive this year’s award.
The award is presented each year for efforts at ongoing, professional development and effective leadership in a school district. It recognizes “commitment to regional and statewide leadership and to active participation in legislative advocacy for public schools,” according to a release by MSBA.
The school board and superintendent were recognized during MSBA’s Summer Summit, held in Branson in June.
