Lindbergh High School’s Interact Club will sponsor a Chili Fest dinner from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, in the LHS cafeteria, 5000 S. Lindbergh Blvd.

Visitors will be able enjoy chili, hot dogs, nachos, pepper bellies, drinks and desserts.

All proceeds will benefit the Crestwood-Sunset Hills Rotary/Interact Club service trip to Guatemala. Advance tickets cost $7 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens, or $8 at the door. Children under 5 eat free. To purchase tickets in advance, mail a check made payable to LHS Interact, to Lindbergh High School, Attn: Amy Richards, 5000 S. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63126.

Last June, 13 LHS students traveled to Panajachel, Guatemala, where they installed 30 cooking and warming stoves in the homes of Mayan families and provided them with 20 water filtration units.

The students will return this year on their spring break to continue serving the Mayan families.
