Lindbergh Schools administrators, including Superintendent Jim Simpson, received a 3-percent salary increase for the 2017-2018 school year.

The 3-percent raise for administrators is the same average salary increase teachers and classified staff received.

Simpson is being paid $278,984, up from the $270,858 he earned for the 2016-2017 school year.

The board also purchases a long-term disability insurance policy for Simpson and funds the full premium for a term life insurance policy for the superintendent, with a benefit amount of $343,000.

For the 2010-2011 school year, Simpson received a 5-percent pay hike, but donated that amount — more than $10,000 — back to the district for student programs that were eliminated as a result of budget cuts.

The Affordable Care Act requires employers to provide the same health benefits to all employees. Because Simpson previously was the only school district employee to receive spousal health coverage, that benefit — totaling $8,940 — was removed and added to his base salary for the 2011-2012 school year.

Simpson has served as superintendent since July 1, 2008, when he was paid $195,000. This will be his last year as superintendent, as he is retiring at the end of the school year.

Salaries of other Central Office administrators for the 2017-2018 school year are:

• Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction Tara Sparks is being paid $144,200, up from the $140,000 she earned last year, her first year in the post.

Sparks replaced Nancy Rathjen, who was paid $163,060 when she retired at the end of the 2015-2016 school year.

Sparks formerly served as principal at Truman Elementary School and was paid $120,819 for the 2015-2016 school year.

• Assistant Superintendent for Personnel Services Brian McKenney is being paid $154,898, up from $150,386. McKenney replaced Rick Francis, who retired in August 2012. Francis was paid $143,938 for the 2011-2012 school year.

McKenney formerly served as principal at Long Elementary School and was paid $110,690 for the 2011-2012 year.

• Chief Financial Officer Joël Cracchiolo is being paid $142,500 for the 2017-2018 school year, her first with the district. She replaced Charles Triplett, who was making $148,142 when he retired at the end of the 2016-2017 school year.

• Director of Assessment and Student Services Jill Lawson is being paid $110,972, up from $107,739.

• Director of Instruction and Professional Development Megan Stryjewski is being paid $120,343, up from $116,838. She previously served as Concord Elementary School principal and was paid $111,817 for the 2014-2015 school year.

• Director of Curriculum and Student Programs Ronni Zagora is being paid $93,859, up from $91,125.

Combined, the superintendent, assistant superintendents and directors are being paid a total of $1,045,755, up from $1,031,758 for the past school year.

Salaries of Lindbergh High administrators for the current school year are:

• Principal Eric Cochran is being paid $125,145, up from $121,500.

Cochran replaced Andy Croley, who resigned at the end of the 2014-2015 school year. Croley was paid $142,155.

• Assistant Principal Pamela Mason is being paid $116,203, up from $112,818.

For the 2006-2007 school year, her first as assistant principal, she was paid $81,607.

• Assistant Principal Priscilla Frost is being paid $96,862, up from $94,041.

• Assistant Principal Mike Franklin is being paid $93,859, up from $91,125.

Salaries of middle school administrators for the 2017-2018 school year are:

• Sperreng Middle School Principal Mark Eggers is being paid $141,760, up from $137,631. For the 2010-2011 school year, he served as associate principal at Sperreng and was paid $112,000.

• Truman Principal Mike Straatmann is being paid $118,450, up from $115,000.

• Sperreng Assistant Principal Clint Walker is being paid $100,568, up from $97,639.

• Truman Assistant Principal Jenna Wright is being paid $87,000. She previously served as an administrative intern to the assistant principal and was paid $76,000.

Salaries of elementary school administrators for the current school year are:

• Concord Elementary Principal Angie Moehlmann is being paid $108,459, up from $105,300. She has been principal since the 2015-2016 school year.

• Crestwood Elementary Principal Jodi Meese is being paid $113,329, up from $110,028. She has been principal since the 2013-2014 school year.

• Dressel Elementary School Principal Craig Hamby is being paid $117,929. He was paid $114,494 last year when he served as principal at Sappington Elementary.

• Kennerly Elementary Principal Todd Morgan is being paid $116,751, up from $113,351. He has served as principal since the 2012-2013 school year.

• Long Elementary Principal Jana Parker is being paid $115,595, up from $112,229.

She has served as principal since the 2012-2013 school year.

• Sappington Elementary Principal Ta’Keshia Parker is being paid $105,000.

She served as assistant principal last year and was paid $87,000.

• Assistant Dressel Principal Patrick Schoenekase will be paid $90,730. He served as assistant principal at Long last year and was paid $88,088.

• Liz Keutzer, an administrative intern at Concord Elementary, will be paid $84,500.

• Christina Phillps, an administrative intern at Crestwood Elementary and Kennerly Elementary, will be paid $76,000.

• Jennifer Albers, an administrative intern at Long Elementary and Sappington Elementary, will be paid $76,000.
