The Lindbergh High School track and stadium field will be closed this summer due to construction funded by the district’s Proposition R 2024.
During the closure, the area will not be available for school use, community members and/or outside facility rentals.
The construction – approved by the Lindbergh Board of Education at its Jan. 16 meeting – includes the installation of artificial turf on the track stadium field, a new eight-lane all-weather track and site upgrades to provide emergency vehicles better access to the track stadium. The total cost is not to exceed $2,823,716.
This project is expected to be completed by fall 2025.
