The League of Women Voters of Metro St. Louis and Call Newspapers are hosting a forum March 5 for residents to hear from the candidates running for the four open seats on the Mehlville Board of Education in the upcoming April 2 municipal elections.
The moderated candidate forum will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, at Andre’s South, 4254 Telegraph Road.
Ten candidates are running for two two-year-term seats and two three-year-term seats.
Two-year term candidates:
- Peggy Hassler (Incumbent)
- Jean Pretto (Incumbent)
- Mike Moore
- Bob Mahacek
- Sasha Schmittgens
- Venki Palamand
Three-year term candidates:
- Patrick McKelvey (Incumbent)
- Amy Summers
- Tori Behlke (Incumbent)
- James L. (Simo) Simokaitis
