Rain didn’t stop South County from enjoying the 20th year of the JB Blast at Jefferson Barracks Park in 2019, featuring live music, an appearance from County Executive Sam Page and a fireworks show. That year, 6th District Councilman Ernie Trakas was in charge of the festivities, after the resignation of former County Executive Steve Stenger.

The 2021 JB Blast will light up the sky in South County at 7 p.m. Friday, July 2, at the Jefferson Barracks Park Amphitheater, 533 Bagby Road.

The event kicks off at 7 p.m. and will feature a concert by Sweetie and the Toothaches until 9 p.m., with fireworks to follow. Gates open at 5 p.m.

Admission and parking is free. Food will be available for purchase.

The JB Blast is sponsored by St. Louis County Executive Sam Page, 6th District Councilman Ernie Trakas, the St. Louis County Police, parks department and numerous business partners.
