Lindbergh High School’s homecoming parade will return on Sept. 19, beginning at 4:30 p.m. at Sperreng Middle School and traveling to the high school via Concord School Road and Roxanna Drive.
Traffic will be stopped at the intersection of Lindbergh Boulevard and Roxanna around 4:45 p.m. as the parade crosses Lindbergh. Police and district security will be on-site to help direct traffic. The intersection should be closed for five to 10 minutes at most, estimates Lindbergh Schools’ chief communications officer Beth Johnston.
Concord School Road will also be closed at this time. Johnston recommends that eastbound drivers take Sappington Road north to Gravois Road or south to Kennerly Road. Westbound drivers should divert at Baptist Church Road and Lindbergh.
“We appreciate our community’s support, patience and understanding, and invite all of our families and community members to line Roxanna and Concord School Road if they would like to enjoy the parade!” Johnston said.
