History comes alive with World War II veterans

Lindbergh High School is in its 11th year of hosting History Alive, a program that gives students the opportunity to talk with veterans from World War II the Korean War, the Vietnam War and conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan every spring. Above, World War II veteran Eugene Ganz of Ballwin talks with students at LHS Feb. 21. Ganz served in Belgium and Germany and received a Purple Heart for injuries he sustained in the war.
